As the hectic holiday season passes by, our next event is a relaxing, fun social evening at a private home in DC, enjoying dinner and live music by two brilliant local musicians.

The beautiful home venue with plant-filled green space in the Logan Circle neighborhood of Washington, DC, is well known in the music community for hosting and supporting internationally recognized, award-winning musicians along with a vegan-friendly dinner.

Music and Dinner at Casa Phoenix

Casa Phoenix in the Logan Circle neighborhood of Washington, DC, known for its house concert series will be hosting VERONNEAU with guest Dave Kline.

Dinner and Socializing

We will meet for a full vegetarian dinner at 6:30pm before the concert starts at 7:30pm. You are welcome to bring your own wine or any other beverage of choice as we socialize with other members of Grapes & Grains and music lovers attending this event prior to the concert.

Drinks, dinner and socializing

The food is vegetarian, home-cooked by the host, and offered free as her gift to everyone who attends.

The admission fee of $25 goes directly to the participating musicians. There are a limited spots for this event, as the venue is a private house.

Grapes & Grains supports the work of local artists and art communities through our 'Dinner with an Artist' program, so we are delighted to support and attend this event at Casa Phoenix.

Getting to Know the Musicians

International acoustic quartet VERONNEAU have been captivating festival, concert hall and jazz club audiences across North America and Europe with their vocal and guitar based world-jazz. Their music is a delicious blend of bossa nova, samba, Brazilian jazz, and French chanson music.

The group is led by Lynn Véronneau, well-known for her gentle, compelling, warm voice and her love of powerful melodies.

Vocalist Lynn Véronneau, guitarist and singer Ken Avis, and acoustic guitarist David Rosenblatt are all based in Washington DC.

Concert at the Casa Phoenix

Dave Kline formed the Dave Kline Band in Washington, DC and is known for blending rock, blues, and jazz with diverse cultural sounds from the cultures of Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Latin America.

VERONNEAU's brand new album Love & Surrender will be released to Casa Phoenix patrons on December 10th ahead of its nationwide release in January 2018 and the group will be joined by Dave Kline for a special performance.

House Rules

Casa Phoenix has a beautiful wooden floor and requests that shoes be left at the door.
