From Grain to Glass Tasting Tour
In our upcoming event, we will get to explore one of those wonderful creations of a grain based beverage. For our Saturday afternoon exploration, we have chosen a gin distillery and a small craft brewery in Ivy City in Northeast DC, within a short walking distance of each other.
Grain distillation |
Green Hat Gin distillery offers free tours and tastings where we can taste their different seasonal editions of hand crafted gin, some of which are a good addition to any gin-lover’s bar.
Our next stop, will be Atlas Brew Works, a small neighborhood production brewery that produces hand crafted artisan beer in 20 barrel batches.
Different styles of craft beer |
Note: The Brewery does not have a kitchen for food, but normally has food trucks available on Saturdays. You can bring your own food for a picnic, or order in from any local eatery.
